A real example
Six sales across five platforms, and a box of two jackets bought as one lot. These are the sample numbers shipped in the file.
- An office chair, bought at $30, cleaned up for $5, sold at $40 on Facebook Marketplace. After the $2 fee, $3 left. A 7.5% margin, and most sellers would never have noticed
- A Nike Air Max 90, bought at $12, sold at $68 on eBay: $46.56 net after the 13% fee, shipping and packaging
- $79.50 tied up in 4 items that have not moved in 90 days, including a wool blazer at 155 days
- A box of two jackets bought for $45: the tracker assigns $22.50 to each, so the first sale from the box is not counted as a loss
The number most resellers never see
Most resellers know what they sold for. Few know what they kept, and almost nobody knows how much cash is sitting in items that stopped selling. The dashboard shows both: net profit after every fee, and the value of everything older than 90 days. That second number is the one that tells you what to discount.
Lots are the other blind spot. Buy a bundle for one price and the first item you sell looks like a loss, everything after looks like pure profit. Add the lot once, write its ID on each item, and the cost is split automatically.
