What counts as hours of work?
Everything the sale takes you: making the item, photographing it, writing the listing, answering messages, packing and shipping. Makers often count only the making time and end up at half the hourly wage they think they earn.
Which fees are included?
The percentage taken on the sale (transaction plus payment processing) and the fixed fee per sale (listing, per-order fee). The presets are typical rates and change over time, so edit the two fields to match your account. Shipping is not included here, the full calculator handles it.
How is the minimum price calculated?
It solves the equation backwards: the price that, after materials and fees, leaves exactly the hourly wage you want times your hours. Raise the target and the price follows.
